When asked why he became a pediatrician, Dr. Mitchell responded by saying: I love children, I love helping people, and I love medicine and science, so being a pediatrician was a natural fit for me. The wonderful thing about being a pediatrician is that I get to participate in the joy, hope and excitement that accompany the birth of a child, as well as all of the milestones that lie ahead for that child. Along with all of those hopes and dreams come a lot of stress and uncertainty, but being able to help a family through the tough times is the thing I enjoy most. The opportunity to participate in the life of a child and make sure that he or she goes through life healthy and able to reach his or her full potential is the reason I became a pediatrician. |
